within a short drive from Auburn WA 98092.

I lost the trans in my 94 touring Wagon and need a rebuilt one but can not afford the going price. So I am looking for a good rebuildable Core. I am BUCKS DOWN at this time and may need to do a trade for some Mitzy Turbo stuff. None of my Turbo's are Suby, all have the 4 bolt flanges of Mitsubishi 4G cars. I dont have a list of turbo parts yet butlike TD04 and small 16's. So part trade, cash or any combo. PM or email barracuda1965@juno.com

Too bad you are in WA. I have a 4EAT down here that I would sell you for next to nothing that I am about to pull off my scrap TW. I don't know how well it works though. I think it still shifted but acted funny. That's all I know about it really.

Thanks Monkey but its 1700 miles round trip and even if I could fit it on my scooter that gets 50 MPG, thats $140 in gas plus motels and what ever $$ you wanted for it.

You can have it for free if that makes any difference. :)

I might have a 4eat for you, and I'm up here in Bellingham. It might be a while though, I'm still trying to source parts for my 5mt swap.

So, I am still not in the money. But I need to get this wagon up and running. I can get a NA 4EAT for $75 from Pick a Part but will it last? I also have a master rebuild kit for a Turbo 4EAT so a Turbo core is my best choice.

Thanks for the offers in Utah and California. The costs in transportation is too high.

Any interest in converting to manual? I have an outback tranny, hydraulic pedals and the hydraulic master/slave setup, ready to go. PM me if interested.

beater, again thanks for the link.

I had to wait for a truck but he had 2 each turbo 4EAT's and I now have them both. One lost reverse gear but all forwards worked, the other lost 4th only. Time to rip tham apart and start Mic'ing parts. Only 1 torque converter. Theres a small Trany shop about a mile away that the owner can open a TC and modify the fins for more stall and replaces the lock-up band/clutch. So you get 500 to 1000 more stall then it locks up for better gas mileage.

Now I just have to clean up the corner of the garage, move a workbench out and sort out the tools.
