Ya Scions don't come with radios, you have to send in a request to parts to get them, as well as hub caps.

That's ridiculous

i had heard that about certain evos too. Just that, the primary demographic will almost always replace the radio with an aftermarket stereo anyways, so it was more cost effective on both ends to just not put one in. But i don't have a credible source on that.

I was told it was because they have 3 different radios to choose from, so we install the base model so the customer can choose from the 3 different radios so then we can take it back out to put in their nicer one? Still makes no sense to me at all, Scions are really dumb and should die, hopefully the iQ will help kill it... but I doubt it

Yeah, i suppose that somewhat along the same lines. Don't put in a radio until you're sure you know which one they want...

As far as scion dying, i guess that would hurt toyota, which i guess could hurt subaru to a certain extent.

didn't they buy GM's share recently ish? I thought it was higher. If it's only 17 percent i'm pretty happy.
