Rear drive on 4eat?

I've been considering rear drive for my wagon but I would like to keep the 4eat untill it fails totally. What would be the best option for a conversion? Figuring out how to make the Duty C solenoid stay at 0% for a fully locked up center diff? Or something else? I have what I believe to be a spare center diff for the 4eat, came with my wagon to fix the rather frequent torque bind. I know I would have to take the front axles out but leave the very outer ends in the hubs, however I don't know if I could leave the front diff or not. I did a quick search but everything was for 5mt. And don't worry, I have my sedan as the awd part time rally car.

The best way would be to pull the rear extension off the trans and weld the rear mpt clutch so that all the power from the input shaft goes to the rear. I've read about someone doing this, but don't recall who.

12th post down shows it. Along with welding the multiplate clutch together, you need to grind off some teeth as shown in the pic.

in this photo you can see where it was welded, and how there are no teeth like the shaft beside it
so youve got to grind (lathe) the teeth off and weld it

and in this one you can see he had to grind (lathe would be better again) the weld off a bit to fit back in the transmission
