No way 4 pots will fit, the 2 pots however will. The only 15" rims I currently know that will fit the bigger tuner ready brakes are certain gravel/rally rims. Such as my enkeis rcg4

I've heard that the 4-pots may fit under some rally 15" wheels, but can't confirm that.

Pretty much what I said... Certain gravel/rally rims and I was using my rally rims as an example

I want some! Rally wheels, that is.

OP, the best bang for buck brakes you can rock (If you're willing to grab some cheapo 16" WRX wheels) is 03-05 WRX fronts, and 00-06 Legacy (solid disc) or 05-?? Legacy GT turbo (ventilated) rears. They fill out the wheels really nice!

I have 02 wrx front and stock rears works good but only with 16" wheels
I also have 02 wrx fitment wilwood 4 pots to install again needing the 16" wheels
Tires do most of the work for braking get some better tires not brakes

I have a set of wrx brakes under 15in 91 tleg wheels. It took some shaving of the caliper but it has been safe for the last 4 years. If you want to stay under 15s then I think your best bet is just some rs front calipers and some good pads and rotors unless you can afford rally wheels in which cause go for the 4 pots.

Mike, if i were to do this swap, what parts would i need or what parts would i want to consider? Do i need a new master cylinder or anything like that? or is it just the brakes being swapped? Steel lines might be a good idea, i guess. But i'm really just trying to make a check list of things to purchase.

If you have ABS, then you have the 1-1/16" bore MC, which is as large as Subaru makes....so you're good there. Some SS braided lines wouldn't hurt if you're doing the work.

ok sweet, thanks josh. So I need:

1x Front 03-05 WRX Brake set
1x Front 03-05 WRX Rotor set
1x Rear 00-06 Legacy or 05 LGT Brake Set
1x Rear 00-06 Legacy or 05 LGT Rotor Set
1x SS Braided line set (Front and Back?)

And pads i guess. And that's the whole deal? I'm not missing anything?

Yup, that should be it. Get front and rear ss braided lines. The 02-05 wrx should all have the same brakes.

Awesome, thanks josh. Now to figure out what it's all worth and then wrangle all that stuff up...

What brakes are you talking about?

Just a FYI, I believe in '03 or '04 the shape of the pads were changed. I don't know any other parts of the brake system were changed or if they are interchangeable but you may want to keep that in mind.

Yes, you need brackets in that case.

You're right....I seem to recall reading something a while, and I did a little check and it appears that part #'s change in 2003.

I have '02 calipers and Tire Rack had that as the mid-year change.
