Looking for a cheap 5MT Turbo trans case to drop my gearset into. Broke my case. Or will buy a good trans complete if price is reasonable.

Can someone tell me if my internals will drop into a USDM WRX trans? Is it the same style clutch? I found a WRX case for $100 shipped.

I've got a transmission for $299.99

it should work. the subie 5spd trannys are all the same. you can run wrx clutches in the older hydro trannys, so they should be the same.

i have my complete stock ss 5spd tranny. im not sure if i want to sell it yet or if i even want to pull it.

Well if you decide to let me know. CJ says the WRX gears are bigger which means the case is bigger to fit them and it won't be compatible with my internals.

I have a 5 mt out of a 91 ss with 160,000, and third gear gone. I'll sell it to you for $200 and you pay for shipping.

Its impossible to find a stupid phase 1 turbo 5mt. I called an importer, search twice a day on all the forums, craigslist portland and seattle, called my subaru friends, nothing. Who would have thought it would be so hard to find.

Kimo- not sure if u need the info but 02-03 wrx trans case will accept tleg gears, I had to hybrid one a few years ago, my only down fall is I didn't have reverse I don't know why? Same year clutches will work for a wrx/tleg, that's what I'm running right now, how much are u willing to spend if u need one doaomo might have a few 5speeds he saved my car just recently with a trans. Also bought an turbo auto trans from him aswell good parts and good prices.

I believe my friend is going to sell me a case. I'm waiting ona final shipped price rright now. Hoping to have my car up and runnin in a month or less.
