Hi all i Just bought a 92 SS and i had some questions.

#1.) I believe i have the stock turbo what is it? size and name....
#2.) What is the best fit TMIC? From all my reading i hear the 02 WRX fits "the best" but i am not sure. is there any wright ups on the topic or anyones personal experience?
#3.) Can i run a BOV on a stock unit lets say i do get a TMIC?

I'd post that in the turbo section as it's all turbo related. Your turbo is a VF11. It's very small and not worth anything really, maybe $40. 02-05 WRX TMIC does not fit well. It requires a large hammer to pound the firewall in because it's too wide. The 06-07 WRX TMIC is narrower and fits the best and you can run a BOV on it if you choose too although it's recommended that you don't because it messes with your fuel mixture when it opens and releases air that's already been measured by your mass airflow sensor. It probably won't cause any damage however so if you want to use one instead of a BPV (keep in mind a BPV also keeps your turbo spooled faster between shifts so it's a downgrade in performance to use a BOV) you will be fine.
