you can use one from a 95-99 legacy or impreza I got the one in my wifes wagon that way
i'm going to try and rewire the newest version in my wagon from an 04 which also has int wipe for the rear too.
I might have another one i'll take a look

Sedan for me as well, and would prefer stalks with the lettering all in tact and not smudged

Hate to be picky but missing lettering will bother me too.

And while I'm being picky I might as well mention I only want it if it has a nice crisp click to it. One of the multiswitches I tried in the past had a really muddy feel to it when I turned the turn signal on/off and it got on my nerves.

not a problem fwiw I can engrave the markings and paint them white which will make them much better
I will personally text the mech for the desired clicks too
I don't like parts that are too used either

Bumping this thread as I'm still looking for one of these stalks. Now would be a good time to replace the original since I've got the dash & steering column cover off.

I looked at the parts book and it appears that you can get the variable intermittant stalks up until about the 95 or 96 MY on the LS sedans without an airbag. Once they moved to an airbag as standard, it is integrated into the base switch assembly.

FWIW, the part # is 83113AC480 and lists for about $80.

I too would still like one. Diesel devil never got back to me about selling one.

got a wagon one? i was out in the rain for the first time and it annoyed the hell out of me... i guess i'm spoiled because all of my cars have had variable stalks, or at least better timed intermittent settings
