Tapping location for oil pressure gauge illumination

Finally getting around to finishing my custom-ish install of my oil pressure and oil temp gauges. Both are being mounted down on the center console in front of the shifter. Where would be the best place to tap into for the illumination?

I used the illum fuse down under the wheel

Thats what I have my boost gauge hooked up to, think its ok to run another wire to it?

Yeah it should be ok. The bulbs don't draw a lot of power, and if you want to have the gauges dim with the stalk dimmer switch, you've got to hook it into the illumination circuit.

Some of those gauges aren't meant to be wired for dimming. Not sure why, I would check first. Also you can do what I did and put another fuse panel in the car for all your acessories.
