what does this do

this switch is just left of the steering wheel. what does it do and is it factory

what model legacy? cause it says shock and i remember reading something about some of them coming stock w/ an airbag suspension that lowers the ride height when going over 50mph? but i may be grasping at straws lol

I'd guess air suspension, but I've never seen what the switch for it looks like. If you don't have air, yours has probably been converted to steel springs.

It is not a stock switch. The factory air-suspension uses a very different looking switch.
I'm guessing an alarm switch. It would explain the LED. "On" means "all on" (including a shock sensor), while "shock off" means only use the door switches and not the shock sensor. "Off" is, of course, off.

It is. I have the same switch. Never thought I'd see anyone on here who has one. Problem is I have the manual for it saying it uses a key fob. Previous owner didn't have it. I'm assuming you don't have it for yours either

I went to the dealer a few months ago. They told me they don't make them anymore and haven't for a little awhile. They told me to check on Ebay

hmmmmmm find a schematic for it and I have some friends who could possibly build one for u. gotta check w/ them but theres at least an option unless you want to hook your new alarm (if you choose to get one) through it? cause shock sensors on my street go off every other day in my neighborhood lol
