Turbo not spooling?

So I just finished my vf39 and front mount install with the 550 robtune and I took the car for a test drive and it feels like a n/a car. It builds boost according to my gauge but very slow and I can't hear the turbo at all. I've got a hallman mbc which I tried playing with and my boost went up when I turned it up but still builds very slow. I also got a turbosmart 50/50 kompact which opens when it should. Could it be a bad turbo? I didn't really try anything else cause I didn't have much time.

Was everything ok before you did the turbo & front mount install?
I would check to make sure you don't have any vacuum/boost leaks. Also, did the turbo spin freely and not have any shaft play when you put it in?
I suppose it could be related to the ECU/tune or injectors, but that wouldn't probably be my first suggestion.

It seemed fine when I had the td04 and top mount on. I could actually hear the td04. Also the vf39 seemed fine and spun freely. I will have to dig into it this weekend.

Smoke tested it and no leaks.

Hmmm.
Well I would try and narrow things down. I know it'll probably suck, but what I'd do is put the stock injectors back in along with the stock ECU and then see how it runs. If it still acts the same, then the issue is with the turbo. If it works fine, then the issue is with the new injectors or ECU.

I got an update. So I just drove the car again and at about 3 to 4 grand it starts to bog down and backfire. I just changed my bov to full recirc and noticed this.

Well the car is running much better. I went to check the ecu for codes and found out I didn't have a check engine light so I put a new light in and found a code 22 and 45 I changed the knock sensor and runs much better but now my check engine light stays on and just kinda flutters/glitches it doesn't flash constantly.

Is the CEL on with the black diagnostic connectors connected? Or did you disconnect the diagnostic connectors?
