Injector cleaning, including rails and o-rings

I haven't found much local support by searching, and Calgary is a very expensive city in general (looking at $40 per injector without new screens or o-rings), so I started looking at places I could ship my injectors for service.

Witchhunter has stopped service outside of the USA, so I was looking for other places.

Accurate Injector Service, based out of Arizona, looks like a nice option. For $25 per injector they test before and after, clean, replace seals etc., clean the rails, pressure test in the rail and ship back installed.

I asked them if they will ship to Canada.

There is a place in Kelowna that the guys have had good luck with, maybe Interior Injection or Okanagan Injection. They cleaned/balanced injectors for bmxkelowna and nosyt, maybe PM them to see. I think it may have been around $100/set?

So after I pulled the rails with expectations of shipping them for service, I noticed that my leaky injector in question did not have its cap tightened down.

I couldn't see that from above when they were in. I suppose if I'd thought to check I might have felt it or seen from the right angle.

The screws turned easily and the cap went flush. So I assume that would eliminate the leak I had observed.

So now it is a choice of long term versus short.

Could send them both to be cleaned and rebuilt since they are already out.

Or, since the only seal exposed was the spacer, I could replace those ans put them back in as is. I would then trust all the seals and be able to determine if tightening the cap fixed the problem.

I mailed them to AIS today.

I'm curious to see the before and after test data, and it will be one component I don't need to worry about going forward.
