hey guys, just picked up a 93 SS 5 speed that needs some exterior lovin' but is a hell of a runner.
Has a Saab top mount, Manual boost controller, and fuel cut defender, and 2.5'' Magnaflow catback. Its running the stock VF11 on about 12 psi now. I have a td05 18g which I know is big and a vf30 sitting on the shelf. I was wondering if the stock ecu with injectors would be able to compensate for the upgrade without doing the injectors and ecu or piggyback swap. Any help is appreciated.

It depends on the boost you plan to run. If you run stock or below fuel cut boost, then yeah it should be ok.

dont rely on boost pressure to assume you'll be safe. it comes down to how much cfm that the trubo is pushing at what ever psi your running. if your not going to have any engine management i strongly sugest you get your self a wide band.

because just at 8 or 10psi you might be maxing out your injectors and start going lean in your fuel mixture with that 18g or vf30.

just some food for thought.
