ok i bought these pistons from a nasioc forum member for my ej22 build. i located an eg33 in an svx so i decided to go with it instead.

the pistons are made to be used with a 48cc head and a wrx head gasket, which will net you 8.0:1 compression. they have 3000 miles on them. i had the skirts coated at swaintech with their dry lube coating. i have the rings and pins that came with them but i dont know if they are any good. they will be included in the sale anyway. a new ring pack is less than 200 from cp. (i say if the ring gaps are ok in the engine i see no reason to not use them)

anyway the block is an ej22 engine from a 92 legacy. i had it bored to fit the pistons at Mullvain Motorsports here locally. i also cleaned the engine block and bead blasted the top of the case (corrosion removal, basically)








the last pic is of the rings bagged and organized.

i dont have any pictures of the block yet as its bagged up so no moisture gets in. if you would like some just text me and ill take some.

Have any rods for this build?

I have 6 still rods that I know for sure 3 are good. I haven't measured the other three, but I don't see why they wouldn't be fine.
