A local performance shop is possibly interested in developing a intake + turbo inlet replacement for our legacy turbos.
They wanted me to see if the the interest is even their for this or what would you like to see them develop for our cars???

If anyone can make a decent-quality replacement for the rubber inlet elbow at a decent price, I think people would be all over that. The decent price part is the stickler though, we're a small market without much volume to absorb development costs and we're also largely composed of people who for the most part aren't going to pay $200 for custom-made stuff when generic stuff can be made to fit for a small fraction of that price.

I will let them know I think they might be doing like a group buy type deal!

A turbo inlet elbow forsure!
While it can still be purchased new in Canada for $60 its not made to last.
A quality silicone replacement would be great. I tracked down a good quality V 1-2 Sti elbow made of silicone but the price over $200 was too rich for me

I think the interest is there, I'm just not sure how much specific commitment you'll get from folks. Also, a lot will depend on the purchase price.

They might offer a group buy for us to keep pricing low they do alot for newer subies. I was telling them of we could get a turbo inlet / intake system for these things that would be great!

I've combined the posts from the other thread created in the Misc forum so that everything is in one thread.
