Bought a Wrx catback took it to te exhaust shop to have it extended and they refuse to work on my car. Does the legacy turbo have 1 or 2 cats.

my 92 had 2 one on the down pipe and another in the the middle. but now its cat free lol

You know, I always thought the SS's had only 1 cat, in the downpipe. I broke out my paper FSM and took a couple pics of the exhaust system overview:

As you can see it has 2.

Did they indicate why they wouldn't work on your car....was it just because of the one or two catalysts?
