Say ello' to my little friend

The wife and I ( ok, mostly I) wanted a non-turbo wagon to put things in and to do the serious road trips we do. I found this one at the Copart in Portland, OR. It seems the previous owners decided the timing belt was an optional maintenance item and killed the engine. When they found out, they "stole" the car and made it disappear for two months so the insurance would pay them the whole car value.
Since it was listed as a theft, I figured it had a good engine and transmission. After I got it, I figured out what happened, and sadly, it added a few bills to get it back on the road. But since I only paid $850, I was not out anything major.
Since we already have a few other Subarus, I have a few spare parts laying around. I always thought they should have done an RS wagon, so I am going this route.

I already has the front seats, so I just hunted up the RS sedan door cards, lower dash, center console, new sedan carpet and the rear from an 97 OBS that had the darker grey pieces. I had my upholstery guy re-do the rear seats in RS trim.
I also had a spare deck and factory alarm system, so both of those went in.
Right now it is riding on my 99 RS 5 spoke winter wheels. I will have to find something else for summer.
I plan on adding the JDM STI wagon upper spoiler, the RS front bumper cover, and putting bigger brakes all around.
But right now, the JDM 2.0 I put in is getting from 31-33 on the highway, so I can't complain.
