will this help or hurt the subie when it gets back?

Waste of money.

I had one made by CES. Awesome exhaust work. I kept the uppipe and the turbo back exhaust but removed the from crosspipe in favor for the stock one. It flowed well, but made the car sound like a vw beetle, and it drove me crazy. =)

I'd lean more on spending money on a set of unequal length headers ( I like to keep the boxer sound).

I asked around the real only big thing you get is it lowers under hood temps if coated. I am looking at getting the up-pipe but thats about it.... and thats only because my uppipe is cracked. i have UEL's and they are not worth it, im going back to stock exhaust manifold.
