Let me know if you have a good working IAC valve. Mine seems to be blowing boost back into the intake.

Have you looked at the diaphram inside it?

Haven't looked at anything really. Been having some trouble getting power and did a pressure test and the only leak I could find was it coming out of the IAV into the intake. Either way I need another one for my other engine going into the Brat.

oh i see, well i know it's not a turbo IAC but i have an N/a one for sale you can plumb it to work. You gotta make sure you pick up that diaphram tho. The one that is on your car now, im betting that diaphram is bad or installed incorrectly.

I've got a few N/A's I'm just wanting the turbo one so I don't have to mess with pluming anything. It's already tight enough for me down there.
Thanks for the offer though, much appreciated.

Sounds like your IAC is stuck partially open, there are threads on here about taking them apart and cleaning them up with seafoam. With all of the blow oil residue flying past them they tend to get stuck or blocked open. Iv done this before and it worked like a charm. No more boost leak and idle smooths out since its not leaking when it shouldnt be. Just a thought if your tech savy and you have an hour to waste it could save you a few bucks. Otherwise i do have a spare one laying around.

This is the thread that helped me figure out how to do it. Maybe it will help you too.
