i just got done installing my tanabe springs on my new agx's and it seems like the upper perches arent seated properly. theres about a half inch or so gap between the rubber isolator and the upper perch. do i just not have it mounted correctly or will this become a non issue when installed on the car. thanks for the help.

Is this happening on the front and rear perches?

Yeah, any pictures you could post, would be helpful.

Some lowering springs will be loose when the car is not sitting on them with it's weight. For example...my KYB AGX / Ground Control coilover kit is loose and the spring is free floating whenever I jack up the car.

This is a possibility if the lowering springs are short and stiff...not saying this is 100% your issue, just something to consider.

It may be due to the fact that the springs are not meant for the rear tapered spring setup on the 90-91 legacies.

The shocks and springs are both for a cc, same with perches. But yea it maybe the fact that they're lowering springs, I bought compressors, but didn't need to use them.
