Hi Josh, I didn't end up making it to the meet. Still acting up, but then again I haven't done anything. When running with the green plugs, I noticed it had code 24 once. Does the fuel cut thing upon application of throttle. If I run it without the green plugged in, drives as described above. Code hadn't come back again, but car becomes undrivable if I plug in the green plugs.

With the green connectors plugged in does it typically not display any codes?

Well I got a newer subaru, a clean 5mt 00 RS coupe, with a head gasket problem, so I worked on that this week. One thing I noticed about the SS, is the speedo is very slow to go back to 0mph. As in, when I come to a stop, it takes about 2-3 seconds to indicate 0mph. I don't remember if that was normal or not.

Now that I have the RS up and running, I can spend time on the SS. Bought a super clean carpet for it, and will be putting in some 2nd gen LGT seats. RS will get the brakes, suspension and JDM seats from the SS.

In other news, a family member rear ended someone in my old beater 96 Legacy L. Engine's still good, but it has frame damage, so it's the end of the line for that car. :( I've had it the longest of any car I've owned, it was a replacement for the 98 Impreza L my then-wife rolled in 2007, and my 2nd subaru. Engine and sway bars are spoken for, but if anyone needs anything, shoot me a text or pm.

Well, the RS drove fine for a few days, then the clutch pedal went to crap. Bought a vacuum bleeder and attempted to bleed the system, with no luck. Bought a rebuilt master and slave cylinder and was able to bleed everything. Car still won't shift while on, and I hear a rattling sound when trying to put her in gear. Made me learn clutchless shifting... Anyways I'm back to driving the SS til the weekend.

Ss finally decided to display some codes! 22, 24, and 41 are stored. Well at least I have a place to start with the knock sensor and iacv. Gets about 16-18 mpg currently...

I'm running stock ecu, maf and injectors, so the z4 ecu won't work. Matter of fact once the car is running good, its for sale, so I won't be going down the robtune route again till I get the 92 running.

Speaking of auto, I might be getting my sister's 07 impreza. Totaled due to hail damage, just needs a trunk, hood, windshield and rear glass to be good. Well that and PDR done to the roof, but that can wait IMO.
