legacycentral bbs

I got a set of '04 wrx sedan springs and everything I found says they should fit on my 91 legacy ss. Just wondering if anyone has run the stock wrx springs on the stock legacy struts?

Thanks. I read through those and it answered all of my questions fit wise but didn't see if anyone was using them with the stock struts instead of upgrading everything at once.

i would prob upgrade the struts just because upgrades, and a better match for spring rates. and they'll probably wear ur oem struts out faster. but you can.

I was actually going to do the same thing on my 91 ss, 04 wrx struts and springs as well, does anyone have a picture with stock wrx suspension on their ss?

Also i was curious on i heard something about people getting negative camber by putting the wrx suspension on? any thoughts? could it be fixed with camber bolts? And is anything else needed for the swap? i heard the rears have to use stock top hats?

Well my journey was short lived when I figured out 3 of my struts were worthless so I bought some coilovers instead but you should be able to just use the rear top hats from the 91 and they should work. And from the suspension stickies (I'm no expert) it seems like some negative camber would be good just depending how much. I would read over the stickies and it should clear it all up. That's what I did and it made everything a lot easier. One of them says what you need to use the 04 struts.
