Steve,

Here is a spreadsheet with the pin outs from all the combination meters that I tested or researched.

Not sure if that's what you're looking for, if not let us know.

Thanks

josh , thanks for that ,its exactly what i wanted , i have the electronic style 2.0 turbo, ej20 closed deck motor, i have early manuals here ,but it dont cover that meter for some reason, does the car rely on that meter wired up to run, or can it all be bypassed with ease at all, reason i ask is , the motor and wireing is in a vw beetle, mid engine set up, or is it part of ecu to run correctly, thanks again josh , you been a great help, steve ,uk

Steve,

The ECU needs a speed signal input to function properly, and I'm assuming since you have the electronic gauge cluster, you already have a speed sensor in the transmission, which will make the ECU happy. If this is the case, you should be ok removing the gauge cluster.

If you're not running a Subaru transmission, any speed sensor type signal should be ok, even if the actual speed value it's giving to the ECU isn't very accurate.

cheers josh, not to bothered about it being accurate as i have gps speedo fitted as a back up, that gives me speed , police radar traps, spped limits, petrol stations etc, not sure if that was ever connected but i will re connect now i have info ,thanks ,steve
