so yeah, i sold my white 93 turbo legacy i bought for 1500 as a daily, put about 1000 into it including a 5mt swap.
i was talking to my friend at the dealer here and he told me he got an email from some one selling a 91 turbo legacy and right away i didnt want it, (pre facelift? YUCK! sorry guys :P) then he mentioned it was jdm so i told him to send me the email, i contacted the owner and told him i will take it sight unseen.

put my car up for sale for 4000obo and got 3800 on a friday and on the saturday i went and picked this jdm sedan up for 2800, score! haha.

it needed valve cover gaskets and a coolant reservoir. its super clean, 91,000km (56,000miles) black interior and dark grey metallic outside

Freaking sweet. Looks like I know how I am going to get my rear wiper now.

Pictures of the rear wiper from in the trunk? I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to see that.

Oh...you're right. I forgot. Over in Japan their 89 was our 90. So their generation of 1st gen legacy is 89-90 preface and 91-93 postface but they were out at the same time, just for some reason Japan calls them the year they come out and we think we're cool and call a car that comes out in the end of summer by the next year...

I'm sure he's probably got power folding mirrors, JDM lights, AWIC, DOHC ej20g, no ABS and lots of other interior goodies like manual belts and a better stereo.

It's ridiculous how we can consider this car straight GOLD, compared to other people it's just an old Subaru.. Lol

If you think that's bad you should see how crazy the geo crowd goes over a early 90's xfi metro. Ugly little hatch that gets 55mpg.

'Geo crowd' LOL

Figure out a way to put a built 20g in a Metro. Imagine that.

With enough time, money and skills you can put anything in anything just about. I've seen full sti swapped subaru justys. If they can do that you can shoehorn an ej20g in a metro but it would have to be rwd.

i took the factory stereo out, it has the factory cd player with it as well!

it has all of the above and no sun roof, power drivers seat (which i took out and put in jdm tiger stripes), rear 40/20/40 fold down seat, air purifier on the back speaker deck, auto climate control with outside temp, and the power steering cooler.

im sure im forgetting some haha

all it needs now is a 5mt swap, my td05 and 550 injectors and the rob tune ecu from my drift car and this thing will be perfect

I didn't know ANY Subaru got power steering coolers  I've only ever seen them on serious track cars (like Corvette Z06 serious) or police cars.

its not much of a cooler, the return low pressure line instead of going back to the pump right away it has a hard line that goes over the rad and infront of it inside the grill then loops back around to the pump

Just a line on the radiator? No heat exchanger or fins?
