Has anybody ever heard of or tried this? i would think if you used a light media like baking soda you could acheive a much better flow,
and for clarification i mean the inside of the manifold.

Haven't heard of this but sounds cool. What would be cooler would be a nice plastic manifold. Search 3D printing on youtube. I'd link it but my stupid work blocks sites like youtube for some dumb reason but they allow worthless facebook. Makes no sense. But if someone could make a 3D image of a plastic manifold there's websites you can go on that allow people to log in and upload their own 3D images made in autocad or something and they'll print the part out for you and sell it to you or they'll let you sell it on their website to as many people as you'd like. No need to find a manufacturer and distributor and financial backer and all that BS and retailer. Pretty cool stuff. You can make just about anything. However, I haven't looked at the cost of something like this before. They even make houses this way with 3D printed reinforced concrete homes!

Someone on here was talking about filling the manifold with BBs, taping all the holes shut, and throwing it into an agitator for a while. If you're not doing it yourself, there's no way its as cost effective as a chipped ecu and a bigger turbo...

I would like to cut the bottom flange (head flange) of a tgv setup and weld on a phase 1 intake manifold flange so we could adapt later wrx/sti manifolds to out heads...

Its been done. I saw one that a guy was selling on here in tumwater. He gave me a free pearl trunk lid with a wing. Probably still has it. You could try searching parts shed for wrx manifold. Or trunk lid.

The intake manifold really isn't a big point of restriction so I think it would be a lot of effort for not so much gain.

Thanks for the advice guys, just for S's and G's though has anybody ever used the BB/agitator technique before?
