Re: kartboy tranny crossmember bushings
I have them in mine. Can't say for sure how much difference it made, as it was installed as the tranny mount bushings, but compared to my ex's car who doesn't have either, mine feels much more solid and the shifter doesn't vibrate/oscillate as much under "spirited driving". I would say its worth it if you already have a bunch of stiffer bushings in your front end, but that the hardened tranny and engine mounts make more of a difference.

I also have them. They're cheap and it was convenient to put them in the first time I did my throwout bearing. Maybe there is a touch more drivetrain noise, and maybe a touch less flex at the x-member but with the stock trans mount I don't think it really matters. If you have upgraded mounts and want everything to be solid it's not a bad idea.
Re: kartboy tranny crossmember bushings
thank you both. i had them installed and i see some minor improvements.
Re: kartboy tranny crossmember bushings
I tried to be thrifty, so I drilled a hole in between the 2 bolts and put a bolt in there and essentially preloaded the bushings. I have a group n tranny mount, solid rubber motor mounts and stiffened pitch stop and noticed no difference. haha
