floored and shitty response and BCS area clicking ??

I was giving it some good pulls today half thorottle, slowly engageing, stompping onit. Half throttle to full throtle. 30 to 60- 80 to 100 mph....etc. Giving it a good testing basically. Not sure what i was looking for . Just seeing what i come up with .. One run i was very displeased with was the 80 to 100/half to full. 8 or 9lbs the needle kinda bounces so not sure.

but i was half throttle at 80. Hitting max boost for me.8or9 crusing @ 3k rpm.... I pushed the pedal to the floor and it dropped gears or whatever it dose to get higher rpms and it went right to 5k it took for ever to hit 100. When i got home i opened the hood and listened to a couple revs. And heard a clicking i tracked it to the BCS?? What would the acceleration problem be? What is the ticking?

The BCS can make a ticking noise every now and then, so I don't think that's anything to worry about.
As for the acceleration, it's probably related to your speed, engine rpms, and where the engine rev range matches with the gearing in the transmission. Or possibly an issue with the trans.
If the engine doesn't act up at the same engine rpm's in other gears, then it's likely something to do with the trans or like I said how the engine revs match up with the trans's gearing.

My only problem with checking the gearing to rpms is its an automatic. Could that very well be the trans being an auto?

What I can tell you is that when I had my auto, each gear was a 40 mph increment. So I could get to 40 mph in 1st gear before it would shift, 80 mph in second, etc. The AWD cars I believe will be a little less, but beyond just flooring it and seeing what each gear will do, you will likely see some variability with the auto.

I too get a crazy clicking but im not sure if it's the BCS or if it's the pressure exchange solenoid...

If i get a voodoo IV MBC it will eliminate the need for the BCS right? And then i wont get crazy clicking from the BCS anymore right

The first video wouldn't work for me. I'll try it again when I get back to the hotel this evening.

Your check engine light is on. Have you checked the ECU for codes? If so, what were they, if not, do that.

I forgot to mention that i had it in diagnostics mode.. My codes are 22..23...31..... And 41 for awhile.....but.....Then i started to have the 5lbs of boost problem so i took the neg.battery cable off for like 5 minutes .. Didnt do anything.... Then i took them both off for like 30minutes and checked... All was the same except now code 42 replaced code 41...

I've had luck with unplugging the negative battery cable and pressing on the brakes to discharge any residual energy left. But I guess if you are driving around with the green plugs connected then that doesn't matter.

All else fails, completely disconnect the battery before you decide to call it a night. When you wake up, reconnect the battery and drive around for a bit after the car is warmed up. Then check the codes again. But Josh's instruction are on point.

So when you check the codes with ONLY the black connectors, is that the list of codes that comes up? What happens when you check for codes ONLY with the green connectors?
Typically you want to start with the lowest numbered code and fix that first. A bad knock sensor or bad wiring would cause your boost & performance issues.

Look on the other side of the steering column for the green connectors.

Found the green connectors. Have yet to plug them in tho. Gotta figure the procedure out.
