Is there a reason why you want need the STi pump. Walbro 255 is only like 100 bucks and it is plug and play.

Yes. I have an STI pump laying about that cost me $0. lol

Not at the moment, but I can take some. If you are trying to figure out if it has the integrated filter, it does.

Curious more about the length/dimensions and electrical connector.

2004 STi fuel pump assembly and 1992 Legacy turbo assembly with a Walboro. The STi fuel pump does fit in the fuel tank of a Legacy no issues, but the only modification would be the fuel lines going to the fuel pump assembly
two of the lines are 1-2 inches short from hooking up to the STi assembly. FYI I have tried!

Is that a fuel accumulator of sorts downstream of the pump?

The fuel accumulator your talking about the white box circumstances the fuel fuel pick up?

No, the round looking device with the cadmium plating and white plastic, kind of looks like a vanilla ice cream cone.

if you install just the pump i think you would be alright.

IIRC the STi pump flows 230LPH and the walbro flows 255(I think).

It's just the pump. Not the whole assembly .

The ice cream cone item is the in pump fuel filter.

I pulled all that junk off. I just want to know if this will be plug and play, or do I need to wire in another style clip to fit the STI pump?

i believe they are the same 2 pin harness. I dont think subaru made any changes to that.

The two harnesses are the same no differences, they plug in just fine no issues!
