Hi dose anone know what turbo the guy in our bookmarks section Flat uses, I have an mrt exhaust coming with induction ,dastek unichip, anyone know of a turbo upgade to make more use of thease mods please

I checked on the bookmark and some is unreadable but on the upper
line it says TD05. I have a TD05 for sale it is off a MY99 WRX and is
in very good condition. Would you mind telling me where you got the
Dastec Unichip I am just begining to check on ECUs or ECU mods.

Yeah thats right Td05 i made that bit out but i thought thats what our
cars[ uk spec single turbo legacy] came with.i might be interested. how much
? what condition? i also have the older style apexi avc-r boost controler ,
poss . px..

The standard Legacy turbo is a IHI RHB5. The TD05 is larger and can
deliver more boost at lower temp. I was told that this unit should be
able to put out 15lbs to 20lbs with the Legacy engine as the WRX is
supposed to run 16 lbs to 18lbs or so I am told. This one is in very
good condition and should be almost a bolt-on from what I can see.
this includes the top section of the up-pipe that may be needed. The
only thing that I can see that would have to be changed is the
discharge to intake or intercooler connection as this is larger.Price
is $500.00 plus shipping.

Hi mate thanks for the info. i got my dasteck unchip second hand £100 not
bad eh, but to remap it on the rollers is gunna cost £250, might be
interested in the turbo where abouts are you on the planet

the guy that sold me the td04 said it redused the lag on his legacy alot. and if it runs out of puff at 5000 rpm then thats fine, i dont want to rev that hi anyway. and on my uk legay 4000rpm in 5th gear is exactly 100mph

That would depend entirely what inlet and exhaust housing you use, is
it out of an Impreza or a Mitsubishi?
