Sneak Peek - my swapped leg, and my shop.

It's been quite an interesting journey with this car. Bought her as a non-turbo automatic for $400 with blown head gaskets. Fixed it up and drove it around for a while until the auto took a crap. Sold the non-turbo motor and decided it was time to swap. Sourced a complete ej22t setup, and a 4.11 5-speed LSD drivetrain. Swapped them in and began battling small issues, wiring gremlins, etc. Finally I started to suspect that there was bottom end damage. Pulled the motor out, pulled the pan off, and found a crushed oil squirter sitting in the bottom. Ugh... Time for a rebuild!

Here is how she looked when i first got her, with the sweet 14" walmart hubcaps.

As for the shop, it's been sitting around collecting junk and dust for 10 years, but I'm making progress. When I first started cleaning it out, you couldn't even walk around. Here's how she looks as of today:

Still a bit cluttered, but getting there!

I like those WRX wheels!

Do you get any rubbing on the fender?

I had some 225/45/17's on them that rubbed on the spring perches. Switched to 205/50/17 and it clears. Haven't experienced any fender rub with the stock suspension.
