tcu connector

well car is back and still nor running right lol. i'm going to start cutting the wire loom tomorrow. any ways i saw this connector under the dash it has 4 black wires and 2 or 3 has a yellow stripe and theres two blue wires that are taped into a single blue wire to the tcu . any ideas? i cant find it on the wire diagram

From the pictures I can't really tell what it is, but the blue wires are probably just combining two to one. The factory harness does that....it's pretty common.
What are you planning on cutting on the wiring loom?

I wouldn't suggest cutting the wire to check the condition of it. Just strip back the insulation with a razor blade and check the wire. Then you can just tape the wire back up or put some heat shrink on to repair the insulation.

Ok...but visual checks can only tell you so much. If you think you have wiring issues, you need a multimeter to check wiring resistances.
