Registered. Be there or be rectangle. Been looking forward to this since the last one. Hopefully I can clean my car up before september. Hope the weather is better this time. Why so late in the year?

I also wondered why it was so late in the year. Can't wait, probably driving the RHD wagon there, maybe the Impreza if I have it all dialed in by then.

Me too brew, me too. Last year they did it late like this and the weather was crap. It was cold and it rained.

I'm planning on going, possibly bringing my friend along with his wagon.

Good for the mud pit. My car still isn't clean and I've pressure washed it a couple of times.

I'm thinkin about bringing the '94 SS to this. Finally close enough to go to one!

I've never gotten to play around in a(n official) mud pit. What's required? Can anyone do it? Need a roll cage? How deep is the mud?

I wanna play too!!! :D

Bring axles, I've seen up to 1/4 of the guys go in there break one or more axles. :(

I thought that was just the EA crowd with their weak old school school axles.

Aw, I don't wanna drag my car up, the reason I got a Subaru is because I wanted to drive it :)

I hope I don't break any axles (or anything at all for that matter) but if I do I'm sure someone will know where I can get 'em replaced before I head back home.

I suppose the angle from the Forester lift might increase my overall axle stress, but whatever -- how else will I find weak points in the system if I don't tax it? hehe

I've seen a couple newer cars break axles, but you're right, it was mostly the old school guys. Also, a couple years back a WRX broke 2nd gear. Belonged to a shop iirc.

I'm in! Finally got internet at my new place, 'cause I know you guys were all wondering.
I'm just gonna register on-site, so somebody save me a spot.
Chris, you need to be there. I've got spare axles if you end up needing one.

Awesome.... yes luckily I registered and got t-shirts paid for before my contract was cut short unexpectedly; I'm unemployed and interviewing for jobs again but I'm still going to WCSS damnit! :) And maybe I'll have a working stock BCS / MBC switch happening by then too. Depends on whether or not this 12V air solenoid I have here actually works or not, haven't gotten around to removing it from the inoperative EBC setup in my car.

Nevermind on the unemployed thing, got hired on the spot at an interview this week. Score!

I hadnt thought about this till now but if I were to choose one day to go to wcss, it should probably be Saturday - correct?

Saturday would be the day to go.

Weak excuse.
I'm frantically doing wheel bearings on the front of mine this week so's I can make it.
Get to my place, however necessary, and we can go together (not in a gay way or anything) in my beat up 4eat wagon.

I'm about to go find some junkyard Subaru alternators so I can stop these damn Autozone Duralast replacement cycles. The Tribeca alternator apparently is just too big to wedge into my '92 SS.

Also, last night, I noticed my '94 SS voltage gauge jumping around like it was epileptic on the way home... then, it fixed itself and showed a nice and steady ~12.5v, along with that nice battery idiot light on the dash (and of course, along with it, a half-brightness handbrake light) to show me that the alternator is not working. Wait, where did I get this alternator.... oh right, Autozone! It still partially works, as in I can get the charging voltage to appear by revving the engine up... but after a couple cycles at idle it stops charging again. Definitely time to fix this, not driving to WCSS with a known alternator issue.

I will be there, damn it :)
