Power Steering Pump on its way out?

One of my belts is squealing real bad and my steering is jumping and hard to turn when the car is at idle. Now once the RPMs are up it behaves great with a little bit of vibration in the steering wheel. Sometimes it squeals when I take off. Does this sound like my pump is going bad? I have already tried to change some fluid of fluid by siphoning out the resivoir and refilling while turning the steering wheel back and forth. That actually seemed to make it worse. Any input?

Still no input? Did I put this in the wrong section? Well I have ordered the pump and will be installing it this coming weekend. Only can find the pump so I have to reuse my reservoir. Oh well. Will update once installed.

Take the belt off and try turning the pump by hand to see if it's hard to turn and doesn't feel smooth. The problem is likely the bearing and at the bottom of the thread rallyak posted I link to my power steering pump rebuild thread.

Still have not had a chance to change this. Too much rain! I will be trying to get it installed this week.
