Head Gaskets going bad or something else?

So I think either my headgaskets or my water pump are going bad. I had some issues with a pump squealing not too long ago and thought it was my power steering pump. Today while I was driving the car rather hard I started to get bubbles in the over flow tank but the car never overheated. I topped off the expansion tank before driving to work and all was well the while way in. When I got to work I popped the hood and I was still getting bubbles but much more slowly now. Does this sound like heads? I have owned a bunch of subarus and normally when the heads go the car overheats no matter what you do but this one still isn't overheating. I have read it could be my gauge but I don't think it is cause it was on the rise when I first noticed this issue and hasn't moved much since.

When I noticed my head gasket issue I wasn't at the point of getting bubbles in the expansion tank, but I was losing coolant and it wasn't being sucked back in the system. I would keep an eye on your coolant level, both in the system and expansion tank. If you are losing coolant or it's filling up in the expansion tank, then I'd say it's likely a head gasket issue.
