OK, everyone seems to like the lower, better handling look of a performance suspension system, and if i still lived in CA or AZ, i'd be there too.
but here in montana, chunks of ice fall off of semi's and can cause some serious damage. when i worked at NAPA i noticed some simple coil spring expanders for lifting your car a small amount, and thought it might give it more of a "rally" utilitarian look, which i love. i'm due for new tires too, and noticed BFG makes their all-terrains (one of the best tires ever made, IMHO) in a micro 27x8.50 R14, with an overall diameter of 26.6 inches...
am i smoking crack? i'm seriously considering this...
any sane person out there to talk me out of it??
ofcourse i know i'd impact my gearing quite a bit, but my speedo reads about 7 mph slow right now, so the taller tires would help my accuracy some.

looks cool tho and if it serves a purpose i say go for it... here in NC we never get more than maybe 6 inches so ill never need it... altho when i got stuck offroad cuz i bottomed out it woulda been nice... also i think id try the scorpions... i think most of the coilovers let u lift the car about an inch max...
