The TMZ server hosting the original story was down for quite a while uesterday. The only other event to evoke this much responses in my FB feed was the 2012 election.

We were watching the first movie right before we went to the bar and then later found out what happened. Kind of errie. And what sucks more is he wasn't even driving. All the greats go out in car accidents, James Dean, Steve Prefontaine, and now him. Damn Carrera GT

Anyone else notice that most of the articles are about walker dying? I dont think ive seen too much attention to the guy that was actually driving. I feel like they mentioned his name a couple times and thats it.

Apparently he was a business partner of Walkers, and was a semi pro Porsche racer?

Yeah, it's pretty sad to hear about this. They've put out more details, and the driver was his friend Roger Rodas.
