Hey everyone! Long time no see, errr... post?

But you'll all start seeing me around again after what? A two-year hiatus? I'm driving back to Washington in January (I know, worst possible month) and will be picking the Legacy up and driving it to Pittsburgh after spending a day or two getting it back to tip-top shape.

Still have my Lincoln, been missing the Subaru and need to get it out of my friends garage so they can make room for a pair of Factory Five 818's. Left Cutco a few months ago, now work for Apple. Salary and time off are nice things lol.

But yea, just wanted to say hello!

Who? LMAO I bought my first SS in Philly and drove it to WA in Feb. Was a sucky drive.

I'm working on a list of things to check/replace before I drive it out here. So far:

Brake Lines
Tires
(Make sure I have a spare, don't remember if I do)
Accessory belt (inspect/replace)
Clean Airfilter
Replace Spark Plugs
Replace Fuel Filter, check fuel lines
Check timing belt (What do you guys thinks? Its sat for almost two years should I just replace it?)
Change Oil
Change Tranny Fluid
Rear Diff Fluid


Anything I'm missing?

Btw... What are everyones thoughts on replacing the timing belt? I probably has less than 20k miles on it but its been sitting for so long.

I would think the belt should be fine. But for the price of the belts, its not a bad idea. How long did it sit? Are you sohc still?

I'm running ej20h Twin Turbo DOHC heads. Its been sitting since March of 2012.

Oh wow, then yeah it may be a good idea. no clue what the stress ability is on the rubber for almost 2 years of not moving.

Lol I was wondering why since my sig said what heads I have. But yea I think I'll add it too the list. Might as well since it will be easier to do it at the shop where its at then back here in Pittsburgh.

Yeah, I've been gone a long time myself. This is the first time I've logged on in like 4 years! I had sold my SS and got a '94 UrS4 that is modded and pretty quick. It's been keeping me busy; gotta love the 20VT!!!
