well hi fellow bc owners. was told to come check out this site. I own a 1991 Subaru Legacy Sport Sedan 5mt with kyb struts, prodrive springs, mishimoto fmic because the top mount never really fit right. Also a turbo xs bov, modified 2004 sti down pipe, megan racing motor and tranny mounts, 2003 wrx tranny and rear diff. Perrin shifter bushings, custom short throw shifter, defi boost and pyro gauges. Innovate wideband, hallman pro mbc, TDO4-19T turbo, custom intake, exedy oe replacement organic clutch, gutted cats a flowmaster muffler, a momo shift knob.
From what I have read this is a rear car only 58 were made in manual.
Im wanting to do more to the car more power so im thinking I will need to get bigger injectors and fuel system as my next mods. I do have a tunable aem f/i/c.
Here is the only pic I have untill spring time.

Looks really good. Everyone on the forum has seen those "rare" numbers but whoever published them is wrong. There's more than 58 turbo sedans in that year. I've got one and I've seen probably close to that many on the forums and in person.

I wish we knew the exact numbers.

I've seen literature from the period where Subaru was forecasting 3-5% take rate for the turbocharged 91-94 Legacy. That would put yearly production around 3100-5300 units for a total of 12,400-21,200 produced over all 4 years. This is probably as accurate as we will ever know.

I don't believe those numbers. 216 turbo legacys 91-94? I've seen tons of them on craigslist, nasioc, bbs, sli, rs25 over the years. There's no way.

SOA couldn't tell you jack about these cars. People have been throwing those junk numbers around for years. Take it from the members here, the numbers of these cars made is most definitely in the thousands per year of production if not more. I personally have seen/owned at least 10 91 turbo sedans, does it make sense that one person in one spot has seen a whole 20% of the total cars produced? Not at all.
Your car is really clean and nice so you definitely have something to be proud of!

Welcome to the board, and sweet car... your car rides on STi wheels better than an STi

Check out this thread about the # of turbo legacies
http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18102
There are more than what SOA officially states there are.

Looks great! I know it's been said before, but IMO those are the best USDM seats.
