Anyone know if we can just buy a sticker for the front grill like you can for some of the newer Subarus?
Something like this:

I'd like to replace the front emblem without springing for the dealer part and price. Anyone have any recommendations on how to spruce up the front badge?

If it's the same size as the NA grille one, i think i'd just go to a junk yard if you have one near by.

I've seen some overseas legacys with the L7 front badge. 2nd gen and newer though. I'll bet you could find one on eBay and test fit.

The stock emblem is curved slightly. You could likely put the vinyl sticker emblem over the stock emblem without much issue. However, putting one of the other Legacy emblems on top of the stock one may not fit as nicely. I ended up making a bracket for the B4 rabbit emblem I put on my legacy.

BTW, Greg at Underground Graphics (from the Nasioc link) is local here in Houston and if there's an interest I can stop by Greg's shop and bring an old grill with me so he could get dimensions of the stock emblem, that way the vinyl emblem would cover the stock one properly.

Oh my God is there anything you don't do man?!?!
I can only speak for myself but I think a set of front vinyl overlays for the 90-91 and 92-94 front grills would be awesome to have as a resource. A new emblem adds so much more to the looks of the car. Whether that be the L7, OEM Subaru Stars, STI, etc. logos I think would be up to everyone else here on the forum. I'd be interested in anyone of the aforementioned.
Thanks for being an awesome admin and person overall (you've been super informative and helpful on all of my other posts lol

Hey Josh, do you know the history on the rabbit badge? I heard it was for a tribute for a specific scooter subaru made or owned or something but I've never been able to verify.

Hey Nick,
I'm sure there's some stuff I don't do, but I try to do what I can myself
I'll send Greg a message and see what he says about the vinyl overlays. I don't have a 92-94 grill so I'm not sure what the emblem dimensions are. If Greg doesn't mind making some overlays and someone has a 92-94 emblem they can send me I'll, that would work out.
Kijan,
A quick search looks like you're right about the scooter

Just heard from Greg and he said yeah he'd make the emblem overlays. If someone has an extra 92-94 emblem they can send me I'll get with Greg so he can make them.

I have a 92-94 Turbo Grill on the way so I'd like to contribute. Would you like me to send you the non-turbo emblem or the turbo emblem? I'm wondering if they're the same size?

I am pretty sure the turbo & non-turbo emblems are identical sizes, so it shouldn't matter which one you send. Just use a hair dryer or heat gun to loosen the adhesive on the back of the emblem to get it off the grill and then you can just put the emblem in a padded envelope or something similar. I'll send it back to you once I've met with Greg.
When you're ready, send me a PM or email and I'll give you my address.

I have the badge off ready to go. I was wondering, Legacy777, if I send you the rear OEM Subaru emblem, could your buddy make overlays for them as well? It would like a smaller version of the "Subaru" logo on the 4-pot calipers. I'd like to wrap my old emblem and overlay a new "Subaru" logo over it, similarly to how I did my other emblem (
http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=52964). Let me know what you think.
I'll send you an email tomorrow asking for your address.

Yeah I'm sure he could probably do something like that. Go ahead and send the rear emblem as well.
I'll look for your email in the next day or so.

I stopped by this past week and talked with Greg at Underground Graphics. He took the measurements of the front pre-face & post-face emblems and the rear "Subaru" emblem on the post-face Legacies. He has to run an entire row in his machine. So he'll make however many emblems that fit in a row. I believe it would be cheaper if someone bought the whole row vs. just one emblem. Greg does not coordinate group buys, but if someone on the BBS wants to coordinate it, that may help save folks some money if there is enough interest.
Here are some pictures of a couple of the emblem overlays he had for other model years. His business card is in there as well if you want to get a hold of him. If you mention me, he should know what you're calling about

Hey guys, sorry for the delayed response, I had some issues that needed attending. I'm going to reach out to Greg and get some pricing for individual emblems versus a groupbuy pricing. How many people are actually interested in these emblems?
If there's a lot of interest I'll look into buying an entire sheet. However, if not, I will just buy my own pair individually and give others the ability to do the same.
So I guess what I'm asking is, if you're interested, post up and let me know! I will come back with pricing once I reach out to Greg. Keep checking back here for updates.

What does he charge for the full row, providing someone has actually contacted him...

Nick said he was going to contact Greg back in late March. I haven't talked with him since then so I'm not sure if he's got them or not.
