Ehm,
Any one run a GT35 on one or our legacy's before?
I know its been done too much on STI's so I think its time we have a sedan on our board with one equipped.

you got it Mike.
In order for anything to expand from the norm and hit new level's of achievement, there has to be that one person willing to think out side the box.
you know, why not?

How big is it? Have you looked at the compressor map? I'd check to see if its going to be efficient with your engine first.

Or he could mod/tune the engine to be efficient with the turbo. That thing will make some serious power, but it will take more than a Rob tune to make it work well...

I got a 30r on my wagon. Sounds amazing, hits hard, and looks impressive.

My buddy ran/is running a Perrin gt35 kit on a stroked 22t block with 20g heads, lag isn't bad, relatively lol, but it hits like a goddamn freight train, I love his car, too bad he is being forced to sell it

Ya it's getting up there in turbo size. For a four banger it's a nice size.
For power yes it will make a good amount. The heads I will be installing a set of cams
Along with springs and retainers from GSC. The bottom end of my motor is already built and I'm running a stand alone engine management. My clutch is rated for 525 ft trq so I'm good there.
The only thing I have that I will have to worry about out is the transmission and rear diff. Maybe axles too. I blew my second transmission last summer on lower power then what I'll be shooting for now. I have a pair I haven't swapped in yet also.
The turbo coming in is a gt3576. I was going to run my holset hc1 on my sedan as I won't be using it on my supra.
Maybe a 6 spd is to be in order. Haha!

Yea my buddy's car originally had STi running gear and an Exidy twin plate, he is running modded STi injectors but he was going to get some "real" injectors before he had his final tune done. He is still running a Hydra with a break in map, its only got about 600 miles on the engine. Like I said too bad he has to sell it, but yea fun set up for sure, especially with the 60/40 torque split the 6sp has with no controller, thing did some nice slides before the 6sp came out!

Subytech, is it a wagon?
There are two wagons for sale on CL in Seattle.
One is black with a stroker build, fmic and rotated turbo setup, 6 spd, and race seats. The other one is a dark blue with a 6spd and 2.5RS six spokes.

Well, I'm pretty disappointed in the turbo that came in the mail.
The seller stated and I quote "Turbo has very little shaft play". To my dismay he was full of s***. It needs a rebuild.
It was also damaged during transit, the comp housing inlet has a spot that's bent. But any who I looked at the cop wheel and found out it runs the same wheel as the GT3776. 55mm or 57mm inducer and a 76mm exducer. From what I've been able to find is this turbo will be quite limited on power sense the exducer is only a 76mm and the power level is equivalent to a 30R. Since this thing needs a rebuild and a diffrent exhaust housing I might see if I can't track down a 3782 comp wheel and housing if not, I'll look into 3794R wheel.
So as of right now I'll be limited to around 400whp which is not enough because i'm am almost there already with my setup right now. I'll post pictures when I get a chance.

Its complicated how the sizing works on those turbos. Good luck with gettimg it all sorted out.
Do you have a build thread somewhere with your current setup?

Garrett turbo's are actually quite simple to understand compared to other types of turbo company's.
but if turbo's are new to anyone it can seem like a mess of numbers.
Yes sir I do have a build thread:

My progress with my car has slowed since I purchased another project that I have been working on for the past two years. But I would never get rid of my sedan over my supra. my Subaru is my baby.

Well I received the turbo and its a pile of dog s&*$. I'm going to go another route that will net the same type of power with faster spool. This turbo cost more then what I bought the car for.. As of right now I'm waiting for a reply from Boost Lab to see if they can help me get what I need
FP HTA 3076
Also a Tial MVR 44
Should prove to be interesting. should check it out

Can you elaborate why it's a piece of dog crap? Do you have it on the car or is it just a pile based on how it was built?

I stopped by ETS yesterday and pulled the trigger on the parts. I also contacted John Reed at PSI about getting my car tuned.
