trans swap questions....

so i exploded first gear in my 93' legacy ss 5mt...i had a spare 4:11 trans out of a 98 outback and a 00 rs lsd diff sitting around. im fairly certain front axles will work no problem. i believe i match the rear axles to the diff. What im unsure of is the push vs pull, not sure what ive got actually and what drive shaft do i use if i need to change anything? any help is appreciated

Hi,
There's another thread on here w/the same info in the last couple of months...Search should turn that up for more specific info.....
The SS is a PULL; OB is a PUSH type. You'll need to replace the pinion flange on the rear diff w/your '93 as the '95(?) + style has a different bolt pattern. You 'might' be able to use the back half of '95+ driveshaft??
You'll need the FW/Clutch/PP/TO bearing/clutch fork for the OB trans. I don't know if you can reuse the SS' clutch master and slave cylinders....doubt it.
Be aware your Speedo will be off.

ive been searching and didnt see the exact answer so i figured id just ask. so when swapping from push to pull whats required, i have an engine and trans so i have everything listed just wasnt sure about that and the driveshaft.
