Does anyone know what offset we are supposed to be using on the BC-BF's? Or is this width dependant?

The offset actually changes from the high 40s to the low 50s, i
think, depending on the wheel width. I'm pretty sure my OE Turbo 6",
GT 6.5" and my new RS 7" have increasing offsets to clear the stock
struts. The 7" RS has noticeably more offset, perhaps 3-5mm, more
than the 6.5" GT.

Regardless, they're all right around 50.

Dave, actually the wheel offset would be decreasing if it's movin away from the struts.

A positive offset or backspacing, sucks the wheel into the fender well, you need +48mm offset on earlier legacies. I have +45 on mine, with a little modification on the rear fender lip.

I believe most are are +50mm or around there.

I've just mounted 7x17" rims (et45) with 215/45 tyres on my car ('92
Turbo Wagon, European spec)... had to roll the guard lips, but
otherwise they fit ok.
With an et >48 I guess you don't even need to roll the guards...
maybe...
