like it says i live in portland i can't find a place to rebuild my turbo so i need to find the kit to do it myself any help or shape names would be great thanks hope to get my wagon back on the road eating hondas asap

Do you have experience rebuilding turbos? If not, I'd suggest trying to see if someone can suggest a shop in the PDX area that can do it.

Any PDX guys have any recommendations for a shop in the area?

thats one of the questions i asked i even said in the first line i can't find a shop in the area i would much rather have a pro do it I'm a ASE tech and have done many vw turbos I'm sure i could figure it out but don't want to risk it

I'm new still learning the whole forum thing it took me almost 30 mins to figure out how to post anything

Ok, well hopefully some other members will chime in. If you've rebuilt VW turbos you can probably do this one.

i hope so I'm looking for the kit atm cause still no luck finding a shop to do it i have talk to a few shops then i look up review and ask around and just hear horror stories I'm gonna have to take the gamble soon I'm thinking
