Need help with installation of Apexi SAFC Gen1

I spent almost 3 hours just last night searching and a few hours here and there. I have swept far and wide in any way possible to find the manual with not much luck. I thought I found some clues but since this unit is so old all the links are bad. Even Apexi website will not bring it up.

This unit has 6 wires versus the SAFC II that has like 10-12 wires but I figured they might work so

Red-Power
Black-Ground
Yellow- Air flow/ Pressure output
White- Air flow/Pressure input
Green- Tach

and the last wire Blue I see no mention on my unit. For the SAFCII must don't use the blue, believe it is throttle position.

The other problem is the diagrams I have found mention a brown wire instead of the blue which is also a ground.

This doesn't mention the brown or blue wire
Here

This mentions the brown wire

We're not ignoring you :)
I skimmed through the manual. How I understand it is that this module is piggy backed onto specific control lines to sniff the communication from the lines and the ones that are cut and looped through is to alter the communication.

I can't just guess what the blue wire does, so it is probably best to contact the manufacturer and see what it does.

Hmm.....I did a bit of searching and didn't find anything referencing the blue wire.

Does the SAFC have a specific pin out orientation that you might be able to see if it matches something in one of the online diagrams?

Thanks guys for looking.

I looked again at the Subaru ECU diagram and it shows 6 wires so I'll just go with that. Blue/Brown being throttle signal.

If I ever get my parts from Subaruparts.com I'll let yall know how it goes.

I don't know enough about the way ECU's outputs are setup and how robust they are if you were to cross wires into the wrong place, for example, connecting something that makes to 12v into an output that makes to ground. I wouldn't want to tell you to trial-and-error and cause you to fry your ECU.
