Screw it I'm gonna import a motor from Japan

I have family there and I speak it pretty well. It seems pretty silly for me to buy a motor that's been shipped to the US only for it to be shipped back across the pacific to me in Hawaii. I just glanced yahoo auctions for Japan and things are looking WAY cheaper. It's just logistics.

I'll start researching but tips are welcome.

Hell yeah, if you've got the connections that's the way to go. You can probably get a much better swap that way too, like one with the rear diff, all 4axles, brakes, etc.
