I finally got a chance to clean up the new motor a bit and it looks pretty good! It turns over very easily with a wrench and the cylinders look to be in pretty good shape.

After weighing the options I think I will still have the motor rebuilt so that when I swap it in I don't have to worry about it failing for a very very long time. The other option was to put this motor in as is, then rebuild the one that I pull out of the car.

Option A makes more sense to me, what about you guys?

Yessir. It is almost ready for primer, then I need to go pull the old motor out so the bay can be painted.

The motor I bought to replace the nearly blown up one in the car hasn't moved much since I got it. I really need to get it to the shop to be rebuilt, just haven't found time yet.

What does separating the lens do if you just stick the lens back on?

Assuming you want to paint the housing, you'd need to pull the lens off....

You should do Satin White Pearl like on my 05 LGT. Beautiful color with the gold pearl.

Thought about that color actually, but I want to keep it an older color, if that makes sense.

Time specific, I feel yea. What about the sotck pearl from that year. Believe Kimos car has the pearl or maybe it was the SVX that Florin had.
