99 GT Trans Retro fit

The GT Trans should work. You will have to change the clutch & pressure
plate,fluid lines I think the proportioning valve is different you might even
have to change the pedal cluster . Watch gear ratios,Your trans should have
a ratio tag on it.You might need the rear end. Just did a conversion on a 91
auto Legacy turbo to 5spd,we installed a 97 Legacy Outback trans and rear
diff,Pedal cluster,brake master cylinder and lines wiring up the trans plug
in the main wire harness was the hardest part around town from light to light
it will pin your head in the head rest, but she revs a little high on the
interstate. About 3300 to 3700 rpm as compared to 2900 rpm.
