New Part # for Valve Springs?

Hello folks,
I'm rebuilding my EJ22T with all stock components. I had intended to just replace head gaskets, valve seals, springs, and get deltacams.
Pulled the motor, found a lot of slop in the crank. Split the case, sure enough thrust bearing was toast and scored the crank. So I got ACL bearings and a new subaru crank, built the shortblock.
Today I'm installing new valve seals and springs, and have come across a little discrepancy. The Legacy Parts Catalog lists two part numbers for valve springs:
13217AA080 for '93-'94 and 13217AA060 for '90-'92 (Mines a '91)
So I'm ordering parts from SGP.com, and they say "New Part # 13217AA080" When I search for 13217AA060.
No big deal, I order the "New Part # -AA080 instead of AA060. My dilema arises today - The new spring is about a quarter inch shorter than the old ones.
I think I'm going to use the "new" shorter springs anyway, just figured I'd see if anyone has ran into this before and had any info.
Thanks!
Keats
