Interesting 1991 from Chile

Came across this AD and always interested in non-US Legacy models.

Noted:
1. Has a raised roof
2. 'horned' turn signal lenses ?
3. Wipers are from a RH drive car? ( I don't think the pic is reversed as the engine bay shows the brake booster on the LH drive side and "Subaru" is correct on the engine cover.)
EDIT: 4. Does this have a carburetor? actually see the same fuel line setup as an injected card on 2nd look.
5. ??

What a weird car. Engine looks like a 1.8 single point injection like Reuben from new Zealand's beater.

The raised roof if part I remember seeing as part of a GT series (I saw it in a fs ad with a 94 GT wagon) but it is an interesting car to say the least. I have to agree with mike it does look like a 1.8 cause I know it could have been either version especially with this year

Turn signals are like the jdm pre lift ones. I'd assume one light is a running light and the other is the signal, but that doesn't add up if the car has city lights..

Dan, when i bought my JDM corners, they were wired up only as parking lights from the factory. This wagon still only had turn signals in the bumper like the cars we got over here in the states.

Yep...if you read the ad (or @ least 'look' @ it, since I don't speak Spanish) it states it's a "1.8 boxer".

Sure, my comment was more directed towards that it was single port injection, rather than carbed. Rather than the actual displacement. But you caught me, I didn't read the ad ;)

^Hopefully - you know me well enough that I wasn't being a jerk about it!

So, I keep looking @ the engine and it looks 'strange', and then I finally realized it's missing the intake manifold 'runners'. If it's single port injection, I guess it doesn't need 'em?

Why are the wipers RHD when the car is LHD !? The fire wall doesn't look altered.
