4EAT shift kit

I have finally picked up my 4EAT transmission form Denver for the Turbo Wagon. It has only 58K miles on it.

I was thinking of upgrading the transmission with a shift kit since I want at least 300awhp. The current transmission starts slipping like crazy once peak torque comes on...and it's only at 250awhp/300awtq.

I have done some research on here and found the RE4R01A and RE4R01A-HD2 kits from TransGO.

Anybody use the RE4R01A-HD2 kit? I know this kit is much more involved then the RE4R01A, and includes replacement plates. Would you guys recommend the full kit?

I will be purchasing an external transmission cooler as well to go along with the upgrade.

Comments, advice, feedback?

I know the original kit just improves/fixes some of the issues with the trans, but doesn't really make it handle a bunch more torque. I think if you're wanting to put down more torque going with the HD kit is probably a good idea. I'm not sure what the downsides of the HD kit would be other than taking apart the trans and putting it back together again....and maybe more harsh shifts.

Thanks for the input Josh. I'll probably get the HD kit, since I think the extra torque is definitely a problem for the 4EAT.
