That was awesome... i got a couple videos with the little quadcopter of the bonfire and the go kart / legacy rallycross... I'll have to edit something together and post it up here.

Party was a great success!
Lots of work got done, lots of beer got drank, lots of fun was had by all.
Thanks to those of you who made it. Hope to see more you next year (or possibly sooner).

Here's what the Googles put together automagically from the photos I took on my phone... mostly photos of pulling the engine and removing the heads, but theres some shots of the fire in there and a couple videos of the rallycross action (as driven by Randomiam with me in the passenger seat).

That's a pretty interesting feature Google has. I'll have to experiment with it later. So what are the plans? You gonna go DOHC?

Yep! Need to find me a dohc head / intake manifold setup, and some slightly oversized pistons and matching rings since the cylinder walls could use a bore.

i have a full 20g head setup with both manifolds for sale!

Is there supposed to be sound with the videos?

Only the ones taken with a phone. The quadcopter has a 2 MP camera and no mic (all you would hear is an angry bee sound anyway). It is called the Hubsan X4 if you want details. Its a low end copter lol

Yeah they are super fun... ive flown several different models of varying cost and i feel the most confident with this little guy, mainly because im not overly worried about it. Worst case, it costs me $65 on amazon prime to get a replacement.

Meanwhile, my Parrot 2 is collecting dust because i inevitably have to repair it and i seem to be working on it more than i get to fly it.

Although, if money is no object, the DJI Phantom 2 is really bad ass with a go pro and super easy to fly..... $1200ish though! I cant justify getting it for myself but my friend has one.

Cool! $65 certainly isn't a bad price.

That slideshow was cool, especially the spycopter footage. The one vid had a real Blair witch rallycross feel.
